The 50mm spacing of the “stiff-stay” wires give greater protection from hooves getting caught in the mesh and is suitable for use where foals are present.
Where paddocks are divided and there is a possibility that horses could be on both sides of the fence, we recommend double-fencing with at least one metre between the two fences. Alternatively, off-set electric brackets can be used to enhance the fence.
Dog
Keeping your dog safe and secure is a top priority for pet owners. Tornado’s R13/120/5 mesh size of 100mm x 50mm helps provide a secure barrier for a variety of dog breeds. Alternative heights of 0.9m. 1.1m and 1.8m are also available to suit a variety of applications. For dog exercise enclosures we would recommend using R19/180/5 and 1800 x 50 x 50mm welded mesh for doggie day care.
R13/120/5 combines solid vertical wires “stiff-stays” spaced at 50mm with horizontal line wires spaced at 100mm, creating the strongest and safest mesh at 1200mm overall height. The high tensile line wires give excellent resistance to animal impact and the “stiff-stays” resist downward pressure.
The Torus knot has no sharp edges, this helps to prevent hair or rugs from getting caught by the mesh.
