Tornado's Sustainability Framework
Tornado’s sustainability policy is based on the principles of internationally recognised and accepted conventions and agreements for the environment, human rights, working conditions and anti-corruption, such as the UN's Declaration of Human Rights, the ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work and the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Companies. Tornado as part of Storskogen Group is also a member of the UN Global Compact.
Tornado is committed to achieve Net Zero by 2045 at the latest, but with an interim target to halve our Scope 1 & 2 emission intensity by 2030.
In addition Tornado has committed to sourcing 80% of our electricity from fossil free sources by 2025. This is to move to 100% fossil free electricity by 2030.
