On the Road with Becky Merrall: Strengthening Customer Connections and Product Knowledge
Becky Merrall, Internal Sales Representative at Tornado Wire Ltd, took to the road to connect with our customers in a meaningful way. Her day was both productive and rewarding, focusing on educating and engaging with customers about Tornado Wire’s products and services.
Becky shared: “I visited the Telford Farm Machinery (TFM) head office in Bridgnorth to provide in-depth product training and to give the TFM staff a comprehensive understanding of what Tornado Wire offers. Staff from across TFM’s seven stores in the Midlands came together for the day.”
The training session covered key topics including:
• Identifying fence specifications
• Understanding the three knot types: Hinge Joint, Titan, and Torus
• Differentiating between high tensile and mild steel fencing
• Exploring the benefits of Tornado’s complete steel fencing system – Clipex and Pro-Strain
Becky reflected on the experience: “I gained so much from giving the presentation. Initially, I was nervous, but as I engaged with the staff through questions and discussions, my confidence grew. It was incredibly rewarding to explain the benefits of Tornado Wire products and highlight how we stand out from other brands.”
To ensure ongoing support, Becky provided each store with a reseller pack for future reference and emphasised that the knowledgeable Tornado team is always just a phone call away for any follow-up questions.
