Investors in People is delighted to award Tornado Wire Ltd, the UK’s leading manufacturer of agricultural wire fencing based in Warwickshire, Cumbria and Perthshire, We invest in people, gold accreditation.

Gold accreditation means that you’ve got the policies in place but more than that, it means everyone – from MD to apprentice takes ownership for making them come to life.

Only 17% of our accredited organisations achieve Gold.

It was particularly notable that Tornado retained this award in the middle of a pandemic. Not only that, but there was also an improvement on every single measure compared with our results from 3 years ago with all of these scores being above the average for other companies on the IIP database. Over the last years over £10m has been invested in buildings, machinery, information systems and training but most importantly in people.
