Tornado Wire are a growing and evolving agricultural fencing company based in Millom, and due to the continued growth of the business, we are looking to recruit both Machine Operators and Operational Support staff to join our Manufacturing Department.

Role Overview

Due to the continued growth of the business, we are looking for Machine Operators and Operation support Staff to join our Manufacturing department. We believe that the best results require hard work, but we also respect the work/life balance of our employees. We encourage personal development, and we want our staff to enjoy their time at Tornado. We offer a 3-shift and 2-shift working pattern as well as single day shifts which can be full or part time. In house training is provided for our operators, with progressive development opportunities and incremental pay increases to reflect this.

Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidates must be self-driven, able to work independently, and ideally have previous experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment, but this is not essential. Awareness of Health and Safety and Lean Manufacturing Techniques would also be advantageous.

The Benefits

• Competitive base salary of 25,771 per annum + shift premium (2-shifts 12%, 3-shifts 20%), with a company bonus scheme.
